In this lecture, urban historian Mike Althorpe of Karakusevic Carson Architects puts the current wave of change into the epic urban perspective of the past 180 years, charting the rise, fall and rise of public housing, its shifting architectural form, its big ideas and its dynamic relationship with our political landscape.
Eligibility: Aged 17+ of diverse ethnic heritage and/or from a disadvantaged socio-economic background.
