Unanimous planning approval has been granted for our Commerce Road project, completing the final phase of the Brentford Lock West redevelopment on the Grand Union Canal in the London Borough of Hounslow.
Our project creates 124 socially rented homes within a new, car-free neighbourhood shaped by landscape, play and everyday encounters. The stepped massing and sculpted balconies respond sensitively to the constrained site, with all homes dual-aspect and benefitting from generous private balconies or gardens.
Green space and play are central to the landscape design by Studio ONB, featuring an oversized slide for communal play and stepping‑stone pathways weaving through a forest‑like courtyard.
Additional green space, including rooftop gardens and allotments, brings nature into daily life and supports healthy living for all residents.
