Kings Crescent Estate has been recognised for its inclusive design, reflecting the Mayor of London’s ambition for ‘Supporting Diversity’ as expressed through the Good Growth by Design programme, and create a city for all Londoners. The scheme has been designed in collaboration with Henley Halebrown Architects and MUF architecture + art. The project has been informed by an extensive community engagement programme, ensuring the design best reflects the needs and aspiration of residents and local people.
“The Kings Crescent Estate is a great example of how estate regeneration can preserve existing diverse communities and support them through periods of change. An example of combining sensitive refurbishment together with new buildings and great design, which has created a neighbourhood people can be proud of.” – Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London
