Meridian Water Station is the first piece of key infrastructure for Meridian Water, a major and long-term regeneration project for Enfield Council. Ensuring 4 train per hour and a more frequent rail service to London and along the Cambridge Corridor, the station replaces the previously inaccessible and underused Angel Road Station and relocates it more centrally within the regeneration area to kick-start development.
Karakusevic Carson led the design with specialist engineering input from Arup and Lewis Hubbard Engineering. The station was enabled by a collaboration between Enfield Council, the GLA, Dft and Network Rail and built by Volker Fitzpatrick.
