The Faircharm Creative Quarter in Deptford has won this year’s New London Architecture Award for Best Mixed-Use Scheme. The winners were announced in a ceremony at Guildhall on 9th July 2014.
The awards recognise the very best in architecture, planning and development in the capital. In describing the scheme, the only project to win a prize in this category, Peter Murray said how “the judges were impressed by its quiet yet confident approach, with a mix of uses entirely appropriate to its context”.
All of the winning schemes will be on permanent display at the NLA for the rest of the year. Further details can be found here: http://www.newlondonarchitecture.org/exhibition.php?id=342&name=new_london
