Our renewal of The Steyne Estate in the London Borough of Ealing has received planning permission! Located adjacent to Acton Town, our proposals will create 188 mixed-tenure, low-carbon homes, community spaces and revised landscaping which will respond to the site’s undulating topography and two 1960’s estate towers; Moreton and Rufford, which will be retained.
Designed to meet the housing needs of local people, the neighbourhood will feature a dedicated building for older adults, low-rise family dwellings and a 20-storey residential block addressing the busy Steyne Road. Considered interventions in the landscape and public realm will help to realise the potential of the unique site with pedestrian and cycle-friendly routes providing safer routes to local transport and amenities and a series of multi-generational play and social spaces integrating existing mature trees and new, bio-diverse planting.
