A collaborative team led by Karakusevic Carson Architects has been granted planning permission for the regeneration of the Nightingale Estate for the London Borough of Hackney. The project will deliver 400 new homes council homes across a range of tenures, a new community facility and new public realm for the entire neighbourhood.
The revised estate will be designed through a collaboration between Karakusevic Carson Architects, Henley Halebrown, Stephen Taylor Architects and Townshend Landscape Architects. The team has worked closely with the Nightingale community over the past two years, particularly in the design of the new buildings and public realm.
